Phoenix have shared Ti Amo Speciale, a short film directed by Warren Fu and centered around their new album Ti Amo. The 18-minute film takes place at a phony Italian show, seen in the “J-Boy” video. It opens with the “J-Boy” video, before staging an interview between the Italian hosts and the band, in which they discuss their Italian roots, how they learned to play music, and who’s the most romantic member of Phoenix. (The whole thing has a whiff of ironic charm, in case the grainy production values didn’t make it clear.) Then, we get a bare bones version of “Ti Amo” before “Goodbye Soleil” closes it out.
